Hello Thornbury!

Hi there, Thornbury! I'm Faye, a cranial osteopath who loves to work with patients of all ages, from babies to adults. After many years working as an Osteopath in Geelong, Ocean Grove, Queensland and overseas, I'm thrilled to be joining the buzzing community in Thornbury and surrounds and looking forward to connecting with you and contributing to a community that’s all about holistic health and wellness.

Osteopathy, in its essence, is an enchanting dance with nature. It's a practice that mirrors the rhythm and balance of the natural world, turning to its wisdom for healing and harmony. This aspect of osteopathy speaks to my soul, as it recognises that our bodies are not isolated entities but part of the larger ecosystem, resonating with the ebb and flow of life around us. Moreover, osteopathy has a unique way of weaving together the threads of our individual health stories into a collective tapestry of well-being. Just like the interconnectedness in nature, where every organism has a role to play in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, osteopathy acknowledges that each of us contributes to the overall health of our communities. This holistic perspective allows us to see how our individual health impacts others and vice versa, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility for wellness.

The wisdom and guidance of many wonderful teachers have shaped my journey as an osteopath. They have encouraged me to keep exploring the vast landscape of Osteopathy, always reaching for new horizons of knowledge and understanding. Among these mentors, I am particularly indebted to Dr. James Jealous from the US, who was an exceptional teacher and guide for me. Jim instilled in me the understanding that osteopathy is more than a profession - it's a service and precious gift we offer our patients to help them tap into their innate health and bolster their personal healing journey. I carry this lesson close to my heart in all my treatments, reminding me of the deep love and respect I have for osteopathy and the amazing individuals I am privileged to serve.
